There are different kinds of zoom meetings that you will attend while at home. Here, we’re going to give you some ideas for when you’re going to a work meeting or attending an online class. The best idea is to go with a subtle makeup look since you will be sitting in front of a computer and won’t be able to retouch it while the meeting is going on.
First, start with the essentials, having a good primer and moisturizer is key since they’re items that you’re going to wear on a daily basis. Two good products to use are the “Laura Mercier Primer” and the “Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer”. You can find these online.
After applying your primer first and moisturizer second, it’s time to take care of those spots! A good concealer is the “Smashbox 24-hr concealer”. Apply a small quantity on any spots, acne, redness, and under the eyes. Now, blend with a damp beauty blender. It is also important to add a little bit of concealer under the eyebrows to define them. Make sure to also blend this with a beauty blender.
Now that the base is ready, seal it with a small amount of powder foundation. A good one is the “Bare Minerals Powder Foundation”. Then, it’s time for the bronzer. The bronzer should be applied in a small amount under your cheekbones and should go from right under your eye to where your hair starts. If you wish, you can also apply it under your jawline, on the hairline of your forehead, and on the sides of your nose.
Once you’re done with the bronzer, start with the blush! Blush goes on your cheekbones. Again, be subtle with this, you don’t want to end up looking like a clown. A good blush is again the “Bare Minerals Powder Blush”, or if you’re feeling decadent you can opt for an “Armani Beauty A-Line Liquid Blush”.
Now, add some highlighter. This product should be applied very subtly and with a light hand. We don’t want to look greasy, hustlers!
Once you are done with all these steps, define your eyebrows! You can do this by using a “Benefit Cosmetics Precisely, My Brow Pencil Ultra-Fine Shape & Define” which has both an eyebrow brush and an eyebrow pencil. Start by brushing your eyebrows upwards, pencil them in, and brush them again. Now, put some lipstick (I recommend a nude shade to go with the look) on and you’re done!
Since the whole look is subtle, if you want to add some color to your eyes, I recommend using a liquid eyeshadow. One that can go well with this look is the “Stila Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow” pick a color close to your skin tone and apply it with your fingers by gently patting on your eyelids!
When you’re happy with your look, seal it with a setting powder like the “Dermablend Loose Setting powder”.
Now make some coffee, open your laptop, and join that zoom meeting!
Hustle On,
C
