Outfits to wear at home

So, we’ve been home … for a while. This is why today we bring you a list of comfortable outfit ideas to wear at home and where to get them.

Co-Ord Lounge sets

If you have a sweatshirt and sweatpants that fit the same color scheme, you can always build your own co-rd lounge set! It doesn’t have to be the same brand, as long as the colors and materials match.

However, if you feel like your closet is empty and just want to buy a whole outfit off the bat, we suggest going with a Co-ord lounge set!

A good idea would be to check out ASOS which has a diversity of brands on their website to choose from. If you’re looking for more affordable sets, you can also check Nasty Gal which offers co-ord sets from sweatpants to knitwear.

For an even more affordable look, checkout Boohoo or Shein!

Upcycle

Having an oversized t-shirt or sweatshirt is timeless. We’ve seen everyone do this trend from Princess Diana to Hailey Bieber and it is something that you defiinitely have at home. You can pair this with biker shorts or leggings. It provides comfort, flexibility, and it’s something you can also wear outside. So, if you’re home and realize that you have to run an errand, just throw on some long soncks and chunky sneakers and you’re good to go.

Borrow

Another way to work the oversized top and biker shorts is to borrow from your brother or significant other. See if they have something in their closet that looks comfy and steal it! Just kidding! Ask if you can borrow it. This can be an oversized t-shirt, sweatshirt, or even an oversized sweater! The upside of borrowing is that it is environmentally friendly and you don’t have to spend money!

Buy New

If you are interested in getting items for this look, a good place to go for oversized sweatshirts would be Etsy where you can shop sustainably and get second-hand oversized sweatshirts.

If you’re looking for high-quality cotton shirts, you can check out stores like Southern Shirt or Vineyard Vines which offer a high cotton percentage on their items!

For biker shorts, a brand I use to lounge and also to work out is Baleaf which I usually find on amazon. You can also find biker shorts on ASOS or Nasty Gal.

In the colder months, you can always pull off this same outfit but exchange the biker shorts for a good pair of sweatpants. I recommend the addias three stripe pants which you can find on Nordstrom Rack. There are also some good items on ASOS.

Finally, for shoes, you can never go wrong with ASOS or Nordstrom. While any white chunky sneaker will work, some sneaker suggestions are Fila’s “Disruptor II” or Nike’s AF1.

Accessories

Some good items to pair with this look are small hoop earrings, or a thick chain necklace. Both of these items can be found on Etsy and by shopping there you support small businesses. That is a win-win in our book!

If you feel like adding a little something extra to your outfit, a beret, a bucket hat, a beanie, or a cap.

If you have to go out to run an errand, carrying a tiny backpack might be all you need, so we suggest the mini Fjallraven Kånken Sling Bag or, if you need to fit more stuff, we suggest the regular sized Classic Fjallraven Kanken Bag. For something a little more casual and at a lower price range, going with a tote bag is always the right move.

Hustle On,
